Peach lovers will be happy to hear that the ever popular Golden Rotary Peach Sale has begun. For 24 years now, Golden Rotary has made arrangements with a west slope grower to bring a special shipment of peaches, straight from their trees to Golden. The peaches are top quality, as the club’s hundreds of repeat customers know.
Proceeds from this sale fund Golden Rotary’s many service projects, such as the Golden Backpack Program, which provides food to needy schoolchildren; Canyon Gate’s Lunch ‘n’ Leftovers, which provides food for low-income seniors, holiday food boxes, which contain complete dinners for needy families in the area, and so many more.
