The City will be hosting the 4th annual Dash at the Splash Kid’s Triathlon this Saturday, at The Spash waterpark. There will be three age divisions, with age-appropriate distances:
8 & under: 50 meter swim, 1.35 mile bike, 1/2 mile run
9-10 years: 100 meter swim, 2.7 mile bike, 1 mile run
11-12 years: 150 meter swim, 4 mile bike, 1 mile run

By the way, classes start on the Monday the 18th for Jefferson County Public Schools, so this weekend is the last hurrah of summer for our youngsters.
