Monday’s class at the Library, which showed tablet users how to download library books, was very popular.
This afternoon at 1, they’re offering a class exclusively for Kindle users. This class covers Kindle Basic, Kindle DX and Kindle Paperwhite. (Kindle Fire is considered a tablet, so this class does not cover that device.) If you plan to attend, please bring your Kindle and cables, library card number and Amazon account username and password. The Golden Library is located at 1019 10th Street, next to Clear Creek.
The Planning Commission will meet tonight at 6:30 in City Council Chambers (911 10th Street). They will conduct a second public hearing about the planned stadium and athletic center on the Colorado School of Mines campus. For details, see the first project listed on this page.
