Meals for Music and the Geology Lecture Series

You can support the Jefferson Symphony just by eating out tomorrow.  240 Union is very generously donating 25% of all food sales to the symphony tomorrow, May 6th.  They are open from 11AM to 10PM, so enjoy lunch, dinner, or both there!

The First Thursday lectures at the Geology Museum are developing a following!  This month’s lecture is this Thursday, May 7th.  Socializing and munchies begin at 6:30, and the talk will start at 7.  The topic is “Mineral Zoning, Geochemical Homogeneity, and Regional Structural Control of Mineralization int he Silverton Mining District, Southwestern Colorado U.S.A.”  The speaker will be Dr. John Dreier.  The lecture is held in the museum conference room (GRL 201), 1310 Maple Street.  Admission is free, and all are welcome.
