Tomorrow night (Thursday 3/23), Foothills Art Center will have another in their Art on Tap series.  This month they’re partnering with their neighbors at the Sherpa House.  Participants will learn to make momos, a traditional delicacy, and enjoy Khumbu Kolsch by the Sherpa Brewery, Nepal’s first craft beer.  This 21+ event is free for Foothills Art Center members.  Non-members can participant by paying the regular $8 admission price.  Please reserve your place today, so they’ll have enough momo making supplies!

There will be a free cooking class tomorrow at 1PM at Golden High School.  “Food Power: Culinary Skills for You” will include information and education on food and nutrition using a variety of healthy cooking techniques. In addition, participants will learn knife skills and ways to use herbs, spices and oils to create recipes that are tasty, healthy and affordable.  Interested in attending? Contact Bethany Thomas at 303-279-2188.

I don’t usually encourage shopping outside of Golden’s city limits, but if you’re in the market for books or music, head to the Barnes & Noble at Denver West tonight.  They’re holding a fund-raiser for Mitchell Elementary from 3-8PM.
