Tuesday was a lovely night for moving a house.  The temperature was pleasant, and the moon was bright.  There were frequent stops for Xcel Energy to take down or lift up power lines, so the house could get through, and the intersections with traffic lights required a certain amount of zig-zagging to avoid hitting the lights hanging over the intersection.  I walked along with the house from about 10:30 till 12:30, at which point my camera batteries were dying.  It was an impressive logistical feat!  Click on the pictures above to see the full-sized versions on our facebook page.

The Planning Commission will meet tonight at 6:30 in City Council Chambers.  They will hold a public hearing on a plan to construct a flex space project near the juncture of I-70 and C-470.  The meeting will be broadcast live via the city website.
