The Planning Commission meets tonight. They will review a study of downtown parking, and consider a wide range of options, including more active enforcement, paid parking, back-in parking, selling permits in the residential districts, etc.
If you’re concerned about downtown parking (and if you live or work in or near downtown, you probably are), contact the Planning Commission and/or City Council and let them know your preferences. Tonight’s meeting is a study session, so there will be no formal opportunity for public comment. You can listen to the meeting live through the City’s website.
