If you’ve been thinking about applying for this year’s Leadership Golden class, now is the time to do it! Applications are due tomorrow, July 31st. Here are links to the class schedule and the online application.
Yesterday we mentioned that Easy Street Properties would be moving the 1923 brick house from the CSM campus to its new location, in the Goosetown neighborhood. They’ve decided to postpone the move till Thursday night. The current plan is Thursday at 10 PM, but keep an eye on their facebook page for updates. (I think they’re going to have some spectators!)
We have an action-packed weekend coming up. Here’s a quick preview, so you can get things on your calendar:
Friday – First Friday Street Fair, Opening night reception for the Quilt Museum Exhibit, and the first Movies & Music in the Park for the year.
Saturday – Farmers Market, Walk with a Geologist at Dinosaur Ridge, Lookout Mountain Hill Climb, and Golden Super Cruise.
Sunday – Mountain Melodies Music Fest at the Buffalo Bill Museum, Hiram’s Sunday Jobs at the Railroad Museum.
