The Jefferson Symphony presents their spring concert this afternoon at 3, at the Green Center on the School of Mines Campus–924 16th Street (map). Guest violinist, Gregory Walker, will join the Orchestra to perform the dramatic Brahm’s Violin Concerto. Also on the program is Shostakovich’s grandiose Symphony No. 5 and Barber’s Overture from the School for Scandal based on the comedy by the same name.
