First, a few upcoming events:  Tomorrow, there will be a tree-climbing class from 12-2:30 in Parfet Park.  Climb up into the crown of a beautiful tree using fun, easy-to-learn rope techniques, safe for both tree and climber. Great for families, kids (no drop-offs please), and adults. They provide all instruction and equipment. Ages 7 – 95. Must be reasonably fit and in good health. Wear long pants, sturdy shoes. Gloves recommended (they’ll have extra). Come climb a tree with Tree Climbing Colorado!

Also tomorrow is the Dash at the Splash Triathlon for Kids.  For either of these classes, call the Community Center (303-384-8100) to register.

The City will soon announce a community-wide Fall Fitness program.  One of the activities they’ll be organizing is group walks with City Councilors and other local luminaries.  On Monday night from 5:30-8:30, the City will offer training for people interested in hosting community walks. Participants will learn how to lead safe, engaging and fun walking trips including: how to manage invitations, create routes for all ages and abilities, host themed walks, foster connectivity and an invigorated sense of community. Snacks and drinks will be provided. If you are interested in joining the committee, please RSVP here or call Rachel at 303-667-0609.

Tonight is the third in our series of Movies and Music in the Park.  The music group, Mass Hipsteria, will begin playing at 7 and The Lego Movie will follow when it’s dark enough.
