I’m tremendously proud to be included with past honorees Ruben Hartmeister, Verna Katona, Lorraine Wagenbach, Alice Dempsey, Heine Foss, Irma Wyhs, Viona Hader, Charles Hearn, Larry Williams, Carol Dickinson, Marvin Kay, Donna Miller, Mary Curtis, Gene Child, Jo Ann Thistlewood, Holly Coors, Mary Ramstetter, Jack Galland, Elliot Brown, Chip Parfet, Tom & Donna Plummer, Chuck Baroch, Arlone Child, Hal & Helen Leith, Tom Atkins, Gwyn Green, Nancy Mason, The Golden Fire Department, John Tracy, Lynda Wentworth, Meg Van Ness, Judy Denison, The Colorado Railroad Museum, Westernaires, Gudy Gaskill, and Gary Wink.

Thank you, Golden Landmarks Association, for this signal honor!

In other news, please visit the Golden Library between 4 and 7 this evening to participate in their open house.  Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL) and the city of Golden are undertaking a major remodel of the Golden Library, which will be finished this year. The library will be updated to reflect a new vision for library service, introduced in Jefferson County in 2013. But first, JCPL wants to hear from the public. This is your opportunity to provide input to the design process and provide feedback on the proposed remodel.
