Two of the current museum exhibits are scheduled to come down next weekend, so better go while you can!
The Buffalo Bill Museum is exhibiting “Precious Papers and the Stories they Tell.” Items featured are often from Buffalo Bill’s personal scrapbook and include a letter from General Miles ordering Cody to bring in his friend Sitting Bull (he was prevented from doing this and Sitting Bull was killed by the Indian police when they tried to arrest him).
The Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum is showing “Stars! A Study of 19th Century Star Quilts” by the American Quilt Study Group and “Out of This World: Contemporary Star Quilts.” Those quilts will be on display through Saturday the 21st.
