This weekend we’ll be celebrating Buffalo Bill Days, so plan to stay in town and enjoy it!  Most of the action will be centered around Parfet Park (10th and Washington), which will be full of craft and food vendors, children’s rides, and a stage with non-stop music.  The activities in Parfet Park start Friday evening and run through Sunday afternoon.

Saturday will kick off with the fire department’s annual pancake breakfast (6-10), followed by the parade at 10.  Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show will be presented in Lions Park, starting at 12:30.  All three of the Golden History Museum properties–the Astor House, Golden History Center, and Clear Creek History Park–will offer free admission all day on Saturday.  There will be free train rides along the Clear Creek Trail from noon till six.

Sunday includes a community worship service in Parfet Park, a car show along Washington Avenue, mutton bustin’ in Lions Park, and a duck race in Clear Creek.

Why would you go anywhere else?.
