Update: The Armory, the Innovators, and the Blood Moon

UPDATE: We’re going to have a lunar eclipse Wednesday morning from 4:25AM to 5:24AM, so super-early risers or super-late night owls should check it out.  It’s going to be a “blood moon,” which means it may be reddish in color, and the moon will be full.  There’s a good article about it in the Denver Post.

The Armory, recently purchased by Calvary Church

The Armory Building was recently purchased by Calvary Church (across Cheyenne from the Armory).  Tonight is the second of two community meetings during which the church will seek public input as to how the building should best be used to benefit the community.  They meeting will begin at 6:30 in City Council Chambers.  Questions? Please contact Bethany Thomas at 303-279-2188 or Dan Thoemke at 720-373-9605.

The Jeffco Innovators Workshop will meet tomorrow night at 6:30 at Perc (710 10th St., in the Mountaineering Center).  This month’s topic is “Raising Capital for Your Startup: the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.”  The speaker, John R. “Grizz” Deal, is a serial entrepreneur who has founded 7 companies and is known as one of the world’s most knowledgeable and experienced experts on the subject of technology commercialization and business startups.
