Golden High School is hosting a Holiday Bazaar today from 10-4. You’ll find handmade jewelry, scarves, hats, jellies, baby clothes, cards, and more. This event helps support the Golden High School PTA.
Foothills Art Center is offering a free holiday card creation workshop from 12:30-2:30. They’ll provide materials, and an instructor will be on hand to help and advise. While you’re there, be sure to shop the Holiday Art Market.
The first of our three Christmas parades will happen this morning at 11. They step off on 10th Street, cross the bridge, and go along Washington Avenue to 13th Street. The parades last about half an hour, and different groups participate each week.
The What the Dickens Carolers will be strolling the Avenue from 11 till 1 today, and Newfoundland Dog Cart Rides will be available at 12th & Arapahoe from 12-3. Santa Claus will be visiting Avenue Gifts from 12-3. Stop by at get your Christmas photos.
The Jefferson Symphony Orchestra is holding their Holiday Concert tonight at 7 at the Green Center on the School of Mines campus. The Golden Community Choir is holding their concert at 7:30 at the Golden High School.
