Have you read the 2013 “One Book” yet? The events surrounding Benediction by Kent Haruf start this week. Tomorrow night (9/17), there will be a book discussion at the Golden Library from 6-8PM. Check the rest of the events on the library’s “One Book” page. The library has 127 copies of the book, plus 8 audio books and 7 electronic copies, so if you haven’t yet read it, ask them to get you a copy and you should have it very shortly.
Don’t forget the library’s Golden photo contest. Submit a photo of Golden people, places, or nature, showing your view of Golden. The rules are available online. The deadline to submit is September 21st (Saturday) at 5 o’clock.
