Golden’s own Westernaires are giving their annual show this weekend, down at the National Western Stock Show events center. Westernaires has about 1000 kids, 500 adult volunteers, and one paid caretaker. Their string of about 200 rental horses means that any child in Jefferson County can learn to ride and participate in Westernaires without owning a horse. This show is the sole fund-raiser that supports this incredible program year-round. Tickets are only $8, and the show is a terrific value. Learn more….
