The Golden Gallop takes place this morning in downtown Golden. You can still register, in Parfet Park (10th & Washington) between 6:30 and 7:30.
The 10K race starts at 8AM, from 12th and Washington. The 5K race starts at 8:15, in front of the Table Mountain Inn. They both finish at Parfet Park, with an awards ceremony at 10AM.
The Kids Fun Run starts at 10:30, on the Washington Avenue Bridge.
The event benefits the Golden Schools Foundation.
This is the LAST DAY for Thomas the Tank Engine at the Colorado Railroad Museum! The first ride starts at 8:30 and the last ride starts at 4:45. Limited tickets are available for sale at the Railroad Museum. Please arrive an hour before your scheduled departure, as there are lots of other activities available for this event!
You’ve probably been hearing about tonight’s big astronomical event: the full moon/harvest moon/super moon/lunar eclipse/blood moon. The Colorado School of Mines Astronomy Club will be holding a community-wide viewing event on the CSM Campus Kafadar Commons, starting at 7PM (map).
