GOLDEN HISTORY MOMENT

The April 29, 1920 Colorado Transcript announced that Golden had a new organization:
Golden now has a Chamber of Commerce, a real, live, boosting Chamber of Commerce, an organization which is destined to work out big things for the city, to aid in it growing into a bigger and better city.
The Chamber’s first meeting was held at Linder Hall, on the second floor of the Linder Hardware building. The meeting was attended by about fifty Golden businessmen (yes, all men!).
Herman F. Coors, manager of the local pottery, and one of the ablest young business men and executives in the state, is the president of the Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber held their annual banquet earlier this week. They unveiled their new branding and recognized several members for outstanding contributions to the organization and the community:
Business of the Year: Golden City Brewery
Community Impact Award: Golden Paws Animal Hospital
The Gold Standard Award: Christian Action Guild – CAG Food Pantry and Thrift Store
Budding Business of the Year: KONA BOWLS
Volunteer of the Year: Karen Oxman
Ambassador of the Year: Mike Herman of Golden Wealth Solutions, Inc
Golden Young Professional of the Year: Hunter Wyckoff of Golden Wealth Solutions, Inc
Congratulations to the Golden Chamber for 102 years of service, and congratulations (and thanks!) to those great community supporters.
