Quilt Museum Program and Getting Ready for the Candlelight Walk

The Quilt Museum is hosting one of their “Sunday at the Museum” programs this afternoon from 2 to 4:  Doll Quilts, Small Quilts – I love ALL little Quilts!  Join doll collector and quilt enthusiast Phyllis Stewart and hear about the precious textiles we call doll quilts. The trunk show will include over 100 little quilts and their accompanying quilt racks, doll beds, trunks, miniature sewing machines and other items. This collection includes quilts from most every decade since the mid-1800s.

$10 person includes gallery admission and complimentary refreshments. RMQM members admitted free.

Mayor Sloan is looking for a child between the ages of 5 and 10 to help her turn on the lights at this year’s Candlelight Walk.  Fill out a card at the Visitors Center and drop it in the box located there.  The Mayor will draw one name on Tuesday December 3rd.  This year’s Candlelight Walk will start at 6PM on Friday December 6th.
