This is the final week of the “Machine Artistry” exhibit at the Quilt Museum, and if you haven’t seen it yet, you’re in luck! This is one of the SCFD-sponsored free days at the Quilt Museum. No admission! The museum is open today from 10-4.
After that, if you’re ready for more fiber art, head up the hill to Foothills Art Center to see “Threads of Change,” featuring a selection of Colorado’s most outstanding textile artists. Don’t miss the community gallery, where they have “Fantasy – An exhibition of Front Range Contemporary Quilters.” Foothills is open from 10-5 today.
This Saturday, July 27th, the CSM Geology Museum will be holding a garage and book sale from 9-4, featuring hundreds of specimens, books, maps; hobbyist magazines, U.S.G.S. folios, equipment, etc. Prices will be individually marked, and most prices will drop throughout the day.
